For many years, I designed spaces.
Today, I create clothing, tell stories and share a traditional craft from Japan.
Perhaps, deep down, my work has never truly changed.
It has always been about observing, composing and seeing things differently.
Taking the time
I love noticing the details that often go unseen.
Light falling across a piece of fabric. A material bearing the marks of time. A familiar object. A gesture repeated with patience.
These simple things inspire my work. They remind me that everyday life is never ordinary when we take the time to truly notice it.
Japan
Over the years, Japan has become much more than a source of inspiration.
It is a place where I feel deeply at home. I love its rhythm, its everyday gestures, its relationship with time, the seasons and natural materials.
This way of seeing the world naturally inspires my creations… but it has also become part of who I am.
Creating
I create clothing and accessories using carefully selected Japanese fabrics, textile painting, and existing garments that I transform.
Each piece is unique or made in a very limited edition. I do not aim to follow trends, but to create pieces people will want to wear for years — because they are comfortable, personal, and carry a story.
Sharing
In 2025, I travelled to Kyoto to discover the art of yūzen at the Okayama Kougei workshop.
There, I learned a traditional craft, but above all I discovered a different way of working, of taking time, and of passing knowledge on. The desire to share it grew naturally through conversations, the gestures I observed, and the trust the team placed in me.
When I returned to France, that idea continued to grow. Today, it takes shape through talks, workshops and a documentary series dedicated to yūzen.
Today
Today, deL-sAn brings together my textile creations, my connection with Japan, and my desire to share.
I continue to create, to learn, to tell stories, and to build bridges between France and Japan.
Above all, I continue to look at everyday life with curiosity.
